Ithaca is an Ionian island of protected beauty! It's filled with picturesque villages and old castles. One of these castles belonged to the famous Odysseus. It is said that Ithaca takes its name from the Greek word - Ithi'- which means cheerful!
''But as years went by, there came a time when the gods settled that he should go back to Ithaca; even then, however, when he was among his own people, his troubles were not yet over; nevertheless all the gods had now begun to pity him except Neptune, who still persecuted him without ceasing and would not let him get home.''

Kephalonia is the 6th biggest island in Greece. It's coastline is full of deep blue bays and sharp capes! Although it's surrounded by water, a massive mountain line called Enos, considered a National Park, cuts through the island, thus making it one of the greenest islands in the Ionian waters! Kephalonia has been nominated for ''European Best Destination 2021'' Fiskardo, a village in Kephalonia, is also the name of the two kilometre long bay in which the port is located. Fiskardo and the dense forest in the surrounding area have been declared areas of great natural beauty and are protected under Greek law. In recent years a small tourist industry has developed, centred on luxury villas in the area around the village.

Ledkada (Lefkas) is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea on the west coast of Greece, connected to the mainland by a long causeway and floating bridge. The myth about Sappho's suicide at Cape Lefkada is related to other myths linking the island to the ancient Greek goddess of love, Aphrodite, and to Odysseus, the hero of Homer's Odyssey. Lefkada was Homer's Ithaca, and the palace of Odysseus was located west of Nydri on the south coast of Lefkada.
