Minou Ericson is from Eskilstuna outside Stockholm and simply loves to dance. While taking street dance classes she was introduced to Lindy Hop and it was love at first sight. MARTIN LASTHEIN

Martin and Minou have been dancing together since meeting at Herräng Dance Camp in 2012. They’ve danced their way through events and workshops in Europe and the US with their trademark playful style and contagious, genuine love of lindy hop.

Ever since discovering Lindy Hop at the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Martin’s been pushing his dance by competing, teaching, performing and his favourite: social dancing. His musical intuition comes from an odd mix of his dad’s love of big band jazz, playing the drums as a teenager and a brief spell as a house DJ in London.

IRENE RAGUSINI

Irene started dancing at the age of three.
She trained in classical dance for fourteen years. After trying several types of dance such as modern dance, butoh, and african modern jazz, she discovered the lindy hop and then the authentic jazz and charleston.
She dances swing in various scenes (Athens, Como, Ghent), she travels across Europe and participates in dancing events, competing, teaching courses, tasters and seminars. She is also a member of Chorus Line in Herrang Dance Camp (Sweden) , and a member of the Dipsy Doodles, from Ghent (Belgium) where she lived until recently.

MAREN MERIAN

Maren Merian lives and breathes swing dancing. She fell in love with Lindy Hop in 2014 when she walked into a bar and was fascinated by that dance that didn’t look anything like the dances she had previously learned. Since then she has been traveling around Europe and the U.S. to dance, learn and compete as much as she can. Maren loves the joy swing dancing is bringing into her life and has been focusing on becoming the best follower and dancer she can be. She loves spending the days training hard in the studio and dancing the nights away on the social dance floor. Performing, solo dancing and fast swing outs are only some of her passions.

KEVIN ST. LAURENT

As an international man of lindy hop, Kevin has been traversing the globe since the new millennium began, spreading the gospel of the golden age of jazz. He has taught and performed in over 30 countries across 5 continents with an emphasize on the style and inspiration from the 1920’s to the 1940’s, but with a modern twist.

Dance titles started with the World Lindy Hop Championships in 2000 and continue to this day to such events as the International Lindy Hop Championships, Camp Hollywood, Savoy Cup, American Lindy Hop Championship, Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown and Camp Jitterbug.

With clear and humorous instruction, this creative and versatile dancer will entertain you, inspire you, and help you become the best dancer you can be. Changing the world, one rock step at a time, is a formidable task, but he is definitely up for the challenge.

When not dancing, Kevin can be found taking long motorcycle expeditions, surfing in exotic locations, sailing the blue waters of the Caribbean or just enjoying a whiskey and pipe on the veranda of a late night jazz club. He calls San Francisco home and particularly loves the walking lifestyle that a deep urban habitat affords. Always approachable, easily amused, Kevin strives to live life to it’s ridiculous conclusion.
